The Troll Gorge: Rhunaar
A magnificent ravine in the middle of the Rhunaar jungles, this ravine is inhabited by all kinds of dangerous wildlife. From Snappers to Lurkers and even more terrifying creatures. To avoid the dangers of the canyon, a large bridge was built in ancient times for crossing. Over time however, the bridge has become under control of a fabled Troll king, demanding "Troll Toll" to cross the bridge. As this is the safest path, and quickest, to cross the jungle separating Rhunaar's Heartlands from its north-eastern reaches (among which the city of Gildin), travellers often pay the demanded toll in fear of the trolls.
The Trading Company's Expedition
During the expedition ordered by the Windhelm Trading Company, a particular group of adventurers known as The Resourceful Ones by some, found themselves at battle with the troll king's subjects. It is during these times they defeat the troll king and take his treasure horde for their own (more in Session IX: Return to Ban Grond Report & Session X: Revenge on the Troll King Report).
