Lake Raro
Lake Raro is a hypersaline inland sea located in the Northern deserts of Zige.
Geography
Lake Raro lies in the center of several mountain chains but immediately surrounded by shrublands and rolling hills. There is an arm of the sea that cuts through the Kaloran territories to the Northeast, and the sea is also fed by rains rolling off of the Paban mountain range to the Northwest. It lies just outside of the rainshadow of the very steep Ghawle mountains to the South.
Climate
Because of the steep elevations of the surrounding area, Lake Raro receives little rainfall and is dependent on other sources of water, but the tides of the sea are influenced by the moons above and can be treacherous.
Fauna & Flora
The most noticeable feature of Lake Raro is the presence of salt snails.
