Elsiar, after eventually proving herself worthy after all, is saved from the wither curse by becoming the sage. Sarah fills the erased parts of Elsiar's mind with her own divine spirit, making Elsiar a partial avatar. However, Elsiar's mind still remains that of a child. For the coming years, the divine parts of her mind are nurtured in Sarah's Orphanage with the help of her friends Ayslan, Ilyreth, and Serena.
