Gethos

Gethos is the son of the god, Idros and a mortal, human queen of Amendia (that queen is now dead but from natural causes as she grew old).
When Gethos was born, it was immediately apparent from his appearance that he could not be the kings true son. So the King took the baby to The Lady of the Lake (The Legend of The Lady of the Lake). He asked her not to kill the child but to make sure nobody ever discovered that it was the queens child. She did so by wrongfully imprisoning the child, and his nursemade, in the prison Darkholm. You can read more about this in Curse on the King and his descendents.
So Gethos spent the first 60 or so years of his life as a prisoner in Darkholm.
He is now free thanks to The Right Fist.
