The Church of the Reawakening of the Goddess Thiaris (extinct?)
This is the first known church to Thiaris in the Kingdom. Nobody ever heard of Thiaris before now. When The Right Fist first encounters this church, the leaders are portraying her as the Goddess of Wealth and Prosperity. In fact, they have changed this neighborhood, which was not such a good one, into a successful neighborhood that one would want to live in.
But in reality she is the Goddess of Chaos, Storms, Prosperity and Wealth and Greed
Thiaris has a dual nature. She can be extravagantly generous, or she can be downright vengeful.
The Church of the Reawakening - the name is supposed to indicate that they are reawakening this section of the City, making it once again prosperous. But in secrete the are reawakening their Goddess. Thiaris had been severely injured several years ago and is now healing here, in catacombs beneath the crypt on the church grounds. Every three months she must take a healthy person and over the course of the next three months, drain their life essence to heal her own.
The church leaders were:
1. “Storm Watcher” Barixis but now he goes by Master of the Faith, Barixis, who is a half beholder (but he wears a hooded cloak to hide his two eye stalks)
2. “Wrath Mystress” Mya but now she goes by Counselor Mya, who is female assassin of the secret organization The Slayers
3. “Chaos Master” GrithGar but now he goes by Master of Arms, GrithGar (he is a half orc)
Every one of the above three were slain by The Right Fist. After the three above were slain, the goddess herself took an inoccent victim, slit their throat, and the blood that gushed out became a blood elemental that then attacked the The Right Fist. This elemental was defeated and knowing that she lost, the goddess used magic to leave, most likely leaving this world. The Church of Poseidon was granted the church building by The Right Fist, with the King's approval. For this, the Church of Poseidon will be designing and building a yacht for The Right Fist
