Uranus
Uranus (/jʊəˈreɪnəs), sometimes written Ouranos (Ancient Greek: Οὐρανός, romanized: Ouranós, lit. 'sky' or 'heaven', [oːranós]), was the primal Greek god personifying the sky and one of the Greek primordial deities. He was the first son and husband of Gaia , the primordial Earth Mother. He was conceived by Gaia alone in her sleep. They were the parents of the first generation of the Titans.
He visited her every night to mate with her but he hated the children she bore to him. The first 12 children were the Titans, then the three one-hundred-handed giants who are called the Hekantonkheires and the one-eyed giants the Cyclopes.
