Brand Barimen
Born to Queen Clarissa in 570 AP, Brand was a quiet and mercurial child that had difficulties forming relationships even with his siblings. He showed an apptitude for the mystical arts that rivaled even that of his sister Fiona, but lacked her natural discipline.
Brand had an affair with the Kashfa Queen Jasra and together they sired Rinaldo, however the coupling was never formally recognized and their offspring has no formal standing in the Amber court.
A principle player in the family strife around PatternFall, Brand eventually fell to his own instability and committed himself fully to the Courts of Chaos, assisting them in their invasion of Amber. He was finally defeated and slain by Corwin near the end of the war (2007 AP) and the family was able to reunite to defeat the Courts and restore stability to Amber.
