Effluvian Jungle

Although this warm, temperate rainforest is less than half the size of the Forest of Hope, its warmth, dark volcanic soil, and concentrated vegetation make its biodiversity and density of life greater than any other biome within hundreds of miles. Compared to the rest of Gylidd, this area’s exposure to a strong western wind through relatively Brume-free waters makes it a pocket of nearly tropical warmth thousands of miles south of the equator. The combination of rich earth, dark undergrowth, and a dizzying array of verge cause each and every step through this jungle to invoke another more powerful scent, layered one over the other in a symphonic bouquet.
