Along the shores of the Tafod River lies a well-known landmark. Two 50 ft tall stone pillars - resembling sharp fangs - stand on either side of the river, about 50 feet apart from each other. A long time ago a very large boulder fell off Short Mountain to the west. This boulder was roughly 50 ft tall, and it crashed down into the river. Over the course of several centuries the river was able to slice through the obstacle creating this odd shape. Moss has claimed most of the bits of rock that had been sheared off of the original boulder.
