The magical manifestation of the wind given sentience by the magic of her parents beforeStyx's Awakening the wind Spirit Aeolus is known as the forgotten daughter of the Gods of The Wind.

Bound to the Tower

Although Aeolus' power over the winds extends across all of Requiem her sentience was born from the magic of the Olden Primordial that once occupied her Tower Home and that magic, along with her physical form are forever bound to that tower. This makes Aeolus effectively invicible as the only way to destroy her physical mainfestation would be to level her entire tower to dust and, even then, so much of her soul is connected to the The Valley of the Wind that her conciousness would most likely persist but it also makes her a prisioner within her own home forever unable to leave the valley of her birth.

Aeolus was once a charming and lighthearted spirit fondly thought of by all the Primordials as the daughter of the wind and their collective playful niece. However although she was not damaged when Styx attacked and rampaged against the primordials, she was not unscathed. During the attack Aeolus could do nothing but watch from within The Valley of the Wind as Styx battled The Seraphim and one by one the people she loved were lost to the battle or the crossfire. Even once the dust had settled and it would have been safe to leave Aeolus' conciousness was still bound to The Spire of Gales and try as she might she could not leave the valley in search of any of her friends. The reality of her situation chrushed her spirit, she was useless, to all of them. Worthless to them as a friend and totallly unable to help or save them. The realization changed her, Aeolus became reserved and shy rather than outgoing or charming, and her lighthearted spirit was replaced with endless self loathing. These feelings only intensified when Ahshina awoke the Gods of The Wind and not one of them remembered her. Realizing that the people she cared for most, the people Aeolus considered parents, had all forgotten her nearly destoyed her, her phyiscal form dissipated into nothing and she existed for many years only as a feeling. The only hint to her existence the whispered words of missery and regret the wind swept across her valley, until the day that the newly turned Vampire Elaine Wraith stumbbled scared and alone into the shadow of Aelous' tower. She heard Aelous' whispered words and pleaded with the wind to help her. Aeolus wanted redemtion more than anything else and the thought of finding it gave Aeolus the strength to reform her body and she has stayed by Elaine's side ever since. Totally codependant for a sense of worth but fiercely loyal and dangerously protective.

Umbroken Memory

Although she may seem shy and fragile Aeolus is made entirely of magic infused air, she has no physical form and it is next to impossilbe to harm her. Because of this Aeolus is the only being in existence that survived Styx's Awakening  unscathed. As such she is the last living creature who remembers the world as it was in the Primordial Age with any accuracy. She remembers Lucifer Morgane's true name, she remembers the existence of Persephone and the origins of the Archfae, and,although she refuses to speak of it, she is the only being who knows, for certain, the true fate of entity Styx.

 "Ellie I am the wind, my body is little more than an illusion. It appears however old I imagine it to be and mortals determine age by examining their phyiscal forms. Therefore I am nineteen!"
