Demon Overlord

Beyond the unquestionable rulership of Lucifer Morgane and the Kierdranin the power structure of Hell is actaully very unstable and Demons with the strength or wit to lead others are constantly vying amongst themselves for power and the favor of the Hell's greater noblity. Such demons with the power and sense to command others are known as Demon Overlords.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Because the rank of Overlord is little more than an honnoray title for any Demon that manages to gain ownership of another demons soul there are only two ways for a demon to loose the title. The first and most common method is for the Overlord to be killed by a rival. The second way, is for the Overlord to relinquish or sell their own soul for any reason.
