Mythology & Lore
While these gods are not the creators of man, they are the shield against dark gods, demons, and devils. They serve as a bulwark against the foreign gods with alien goals and ideals. The gods of the empire seek to hold on to the morally pure group of men, as to later fix the world of its blackened corruption.
The Creation Myth of the Pantheon goes as follows. Amidst the warring kings stood the noblest among them was Saint Johann. He was the First Emperor by uniting a few of the other kingdoms under him. It was him who saw a vision from the god Uldavir of a black flame wreathing the Empire and watching it eventually burn.
Uldavir brought together the other gods to start influencing The First Emperor and showing him visions. They collectively gave him a vision of all the realms of the future Empire staving off the black flame and at the heart of the empire he would see a grand temple for all the gods.

Divine Origins
The Pantheon was originally a collection of deities that weren't connected by myth and story, but rather as an act of Unity by an early Emperor.
