Curae
<Kyoor-ayy>
Curae is a god most commonly associated with romance, lust, and fertility. He is widely revered across Aisoa, with the largest concentration of his followers located in Xeblisau.
Curae resides in Eos, a plane of his own creation. His devout worshippers are welcomed to his plane upon the end of their mortal life, making him an incredibly popular god to worship.
Tenets of Faith
The devout of Curae believe that love should be shared freely, in whatever form it takes - whether romantic, platonic, or familial. To hide ones appreciation of another is considered one of the greatest sadnesses someone could choose to do.
To this end, gift giving is common, as well as numerous celebrations. It is considered good luck to hold at least one celebration of another's achievements each year, to show your support and appreciation for them.
Children are seen as the ultimate form of gift a family can share together, and are greatly cherished. Despite being a god of fertility, it is seen as a sin to bring a child into the world and treat it without love. Families are urged to only have children when they are ready and excited for it, and temples of Curae have herbs to aid in this matter.
Curae has good relations with most gods, and his worshippers rarely have cause to interfere in others plans. Curae has a particularly close relationship with the god of spies Seyrin, and their followers are urged to find solutions to any issues they have with each other.
Holidays
The devout of Curae celebrate a yearly holiday that commemorates the return of the comets of the Radiant Trail. It also is said to commemorate the first time Curae fell in love, and is the faith's most romantic holiday of the year.
Though not a formal holiday, it is tradition that every other month Curae's devout confess any pent up feelings to others. It is intended as a way of spurring on interactions that might be delayed otherwise. For couples, this tradition is often celebrated with the giving of small gifts.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Curae seeks to foster happiness among the sentient people of the continent. He treasures aiding others in finding love, friendship, and comfort among others. Whether mortal or deific, Curae has been seen trying to mend rivalries and introduce like-minded individuals.
