Hjálmarr is associated with summer, birds and the sky, fire, and creation. She is a god of nature, and the druids of Bocrae consider her part of their pantheon.

Tenets of Faith

Hjálmarr is said to be one of the gods that aided the Ancient Ones in creating the planet . With the flames of her wings, she melted the stone of the earth to shape the tallest mountains, and burnt away the toxic smoke of creation to create breathable air. She is considered to be the most powerful of the Bocraean druidic gods.
But others speak of Hjálmarr's indifference - they claim that she has taken upon herself a quest to prevent the inhabitants of the planet from exploring the stars. Some say she is protecting us, but the rest call her a jailer.

The hottest day of the summer is said to be when Hjálmarr makes her slow flight across the world to watch over it.
