Queen of the Abyss

Lumex is a powerful demonic god associated with war, fire, weaponry, and cyclopes. She is the oldest of the seven Demon Primacies, and is known as the Blood of Tazan. Her worshippers include berserkers, gladiators, generals, and those who craft powerful weapons of war.

It is said that Lumex was the first of the demon primacy created when Tazan was slain, and rose from where its blood mixed with Suriel's blood. Moments later, the remainder of the demon primacies were created. For this reason, she began her wars against her siblings, demanding her rightful place as leader of the seven.

Demonic Armies

If any of the demon primacies could be said to be 'winning' the war for the Abyss, Lumex would be among the front runners. Her armies are spread across the many planes of the Abyss, made up of the largest and most brutish of all sorts of demons. Compared to many other demonic armies, hers are relatively devoid of magic, and favor more straightforward combat - a strategy with which they have found great success. Balors are unique to Lumex's armies, with Pit Fiends and Goristro being highly favored. Few demons are not seen in some fashion among her armies, but generally favor a smaller amount of exceedingly dangerous creatures. They tend to be rarely seen on the Material Plane, and are mostly concerned with their Abyssal wars.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Lumex is known for her love of weaponry, and her divine symbol is a blade of blood-red flame, in direct defiance of the goddess Suriel who shares similar iconography. Other signs of her influence might include unnatural warmth, or weapons keeping their edge even under heavy use.

Physical Description

Identifying Characteristics

Lumex appears as a hulking, insectile humanoid with chitin made of a dark purple. Great curving black horns adorn her head, and a singular glowing eye lies at the center of her forehead. A blade as long as any greatsword lies at the tip of her long, whip-like tail, and wicked claws at the end of each of her four arms. Two bat-like wings sprout from her back. It is unclear what her exact height is, though she is known to tower over mortals and most of her subordinates.
She is frequently depicted bathed in flames, or wielding weapons of fire.
