Stross Dwarvish

Geographical Distribution

Stross Dwarvish is a dwarvish dialect spoken primarily by the Stross people. It was originally spoken by dwarves living in the Katarine Heights, but after they were pushed from the underground and settled in Southern Aisoa it has spread a bit further.

Phonology

Stross Dwarvish is one of the farther removed dialects of dwarvish. Where most dwarvish dialects change slowly over hundreds of years thanks to dwarves' long lived nature, Stross Dwarvish has been picked up by many humans and other shorter lived humanoids in Southern Aisoa. It shifts and changes more readily than most dialects, and boasts a number of sub-dialects across the region.
