Count Eraon was the sole child of Cianna and Xeron. He took the position of count in 517, when Xeron took ill and after 2 weeks died. Eraon had been very involved in the ruing of the county and Vernoff, and he recognised that he needed to hold an iron grip over the Emberstone Mine and Emberstone in order to maintain his power and not allow the Inquisition or the Arcanic Order to take over the city from him.
However he did not pay enaugh attention to the growing threat of the Gnolls of Springcloud Forest, and he is presumed to have died when Vernoff was almost razed by the gnolls in 522.
