Icebark Trees

Icebark trees are an impressively hardy species of trees which live only in the frigid confines of the Northern Dominance. They are generally tall trees, between 100-150ft in height, although most are quite thin.
In terms of appearance, the leaves of an Icebard tree are completely white, due to the fact that they are almost constantly frozen by the sub zero temperatures of the North. The bark itself is almost metallic in colour, and is always dangerously cold to the touch. Many people are said to have a trapped by an Icebark tree as by touching an uncovered hand to the bark, freezing them in place. Despite its inherent danger, the bark of these trees is as strong as steel.

Nobody has observed the growth of an Icebark tree, however the youngest tree ever cut down was over 100 years old.

Icebark trees grow only in the north, and wither and die in temperatures above 0.
