Infinium
Infinium, otherwise known as The Great Library, was a Plane of Existence. Compared to the Mortal Plane, which is a vast and unending universe, Infinium was quite small, comparable perhaps to a Pocket Dimension or Plane of Dread, such as Barovia. Contained within a great tree in the Elder Forest, Infinium is a place of great knowledge and power. It's overseer, The Eres named Oghma, maintains complete records of Naneth's history, and guards them against the passage of time and other intruders.
History
During the Age of Creation, Infinium was created by Eldath. This realm was to be the center of all knowledge pertaining to Naneth; The Eres's ongoing creation. To record and oversee this place of growing knowledge, Eldath appointed Oghma, another of her Eres brethren. Oghma was to remain impartial to all happenings upon the Mortal Plane, merely becoming a spectator and archivist of the world's many happenings. As the Age of Creation drew to a close, and the Eres began to fight among themselves, Infinium and Oghma remained true to their directive, and aided neither Eldath or Bane during the conflict of the gods. To this day, legends state that Oghma still remains within Infinium, watching Naneth from his great library.Access
Access to Infinium is guarded by Oghma, and the god suffers few to pass between his realm and the mortal realm. However, those within the Children of Knowledge seem to have been granted access to his plane, as the group is dedicated to the discovery and retrieval of any and all historical artifacts, texts, and other significant items pertaining to Naneth's own history. Because of this limited access, Oghma is often worshiped as a patron of wizards and scholars, professions that relay on the constant study and discovery of Naneth's secrets.
