Sandrum

Goddess of the Sea, Stormbringer, Mistress of the Deep

Sandrum, the Lord of the Sea and member of The Eres. Sandrum was one of the Eres directly responsible for creating life upon Naneth.   After Eldath and Silvanus created the landmass that would become Naneth, Sandrum filled the empty spaces of The Mortal Plane with water, vast and deep. This massive body of water would become known as Naneth's Deep. Into the water, Sadrum poured a staggering amount of life, created for the deep waters of the world.   During the conflict of The Betrayal, Sandrum fought alongside her Eres brethren. Wielding the power of thunder and Naneth's powerful storms, Sandrum was a considerable threat to Bane, Bhaal and Myrkul. On the back of Sandrum and Torm's combined might, the Eres were victorious against The Dead Three, banishing them to the Underblaze.   As Eldath, Silvanus and other Eres decided to leave Naneth, Sandrum elected to stay on The Mortal Plane. She forfeited her physical form, becoming one with the winds and water of Naneth's oceans, lakes and rivers.

Worshipers

Life and well-being depend on navigating the dangerous waters of Naneth, with a large portion of the world depending on these waters for food and wealth. Those the travel the waters often, know that proper tribute to Sandrum must be paid. She is a powerful overseer, and demands respect from those that cross her domain. Those that show proper respect, often have good fortune while sailing Naneth's waters. While those that take the power of the seas for granted, are often met with disaster.   Sandrum is also the patron for many magic users across the world. Sorcerer's born with raw magic ability often look to Sandrum for guidance on harnessing their power, especially those with an affinity for thunder and water. Some types of Druids and Clerics also tap into Sandrum's storm magic.

Artifact

Sandrum's Wrath”; the hilt of this beautiful sword is adorned with carvings of waves, crashing upon the shore. The blade is clear and blue, with the user able to see their reflection perfectly within the steel. However, when this blade is in use, it becomes murky and fierce, like the ocean during a storm. It is rumored that this weapon controls the weather at sea to a degree, perhaps controlling the strike of lighting bolt, or crash of thunder. It is said Sandrum bestows this weapon onto those she feels are worthy, and will reclaim it just as quickly.
