Sune
Goddess of Love, Goddess of Beauty, Lady Firehair
Sune (s-oon-i) is a member of The Eres and the Goddess of Love. While Sune did not have a a direct hand in the creation of Naneth, it is said that Eldath and Silvanus used her likeness when designing and creating the Eldar.
During the conflict of the Eres and The Betrayal, Sune fought alongside Torm, becoming extremely close with him during these times of strife. When Torm managed to defeat Bane in single combat, and the other members of The Dead Three were banished to the Underblaze, Sune saw him through it all.
Then, when the Eres decided it was best to leave Naneth to the fate of the mortals, Sune, accompanied by Torm, ascended to Empyrean; their own personal plane of paradise. There, they live together, welcoming the heroic and kind souls that have passed from The Mortal Plane into Empyrean. From her lofty domain, Sune continues to watch over the mortals of Naneth, especially the elves, whom were created in her image. She takes great joy as they throw celebrations and parties in her honor, or for any reasons at all.
Worshipers
Sune is revered all across Naneth, most notably by the High and Sun Elves of Astora and Meridian. In Meridian, she is even more highly revered than Torm or even Eldath. The country throws great festivals and parties every year, almost all of them dedicated to Sune, or life in general. The Celebration of the New Moon and The Masquerade are examples of annual festivals that the sun elves of Meridian dedicate to their goddess. In other cases, professions such as Clerics or even Paladins may call upon Sune for her powers of light and healing.Artifacts
“Love's Gaze”; while not a true artifact, Love’s Gaze is the name given to the love potion Sune blessed upon several grateful alchemists of Meridian. Sune gave them the means to make more, and this secret recipe is known only to a select few across Meridian. Coveted around the world, Love’s Gaze does what it’s title implies, the one to drink this potion will fall in love with whomever they gaze upon first thereafter. The potion commands a high price however, as it is extremely difficult to create.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
