Yannetar Waste Pits

The wasteland beneath Yannetar is a toxic dumping ground for anything the drow no longer need or has spoiled. These pits lie many miles beneath the city and various chutes and openings exist from the city.
They are said to lie in a field of foul smog, the stench said to be unbearable even for the toughest drow, attempting to spend a length of time there is part of the coming of age rituals of young drow. Monstrous beasts roam the pits of filth and decay and their cries can sometimes be heard through the echoes of the caves.
