Genasi
Also known as "Elementins", the Genasi are humanoids born out of the very elements themselves. They tend to come from regions of extreme natural phenomena (volcanos, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis), which has led many to see them as harbingers of such disasters. As a result of this animosity, many Genasi live nomadic lives in search of belonging.
Most Genasi have some variety of horns, very little body hair, and an affinity for the element of their origin. There are four main types of Genasi, all very distinct in appearance but nevertheless related:
Water Genasi, or Djinn, have skin in every shade of the ocean, curved black horns that grow in a manner similar to hair, somewhat animalistic facial features, and a tendency to weave their whole body into every movement.
Fire Genasi, or Efreet, have vibrant shades of skin resembling igneous rock, oranges, reds, and even blacks, curved horns that grow long, and glow brightly with heat at various points along their bodies. Their bodies tend to be extremely long but extremely skinny, almost like glassblown sculptures.
Earth Genasi, or Dao, have skin that varies between oranges & browns, with some having vibrant gemlike hues. They are the only Genasi without horns, as they instead have rock-like features incorporated into their bodies, unique to each individual. While their appearances give them the impression of hair, it is as solid & stone-like as the rest of their bodies.
Air Genasi, or Marid, have light, almost translucent skin that seems to constantly have a light breeze running over it, curved white horns like a rams, and a seemingly weightless way of moving. They are also the only Genasi with hair in the traditional sense, although it comes in every color imaginable.

Genetics and Reproduction
Genasi were originally born in the wake of natural disasters, although they are fully capable of reproducing with other humanoid species. Some classify those born from disasters as Elementins, and those born in the more traditional method as Genasi, but the terms are interchangeable to most.
