Plum Heads
The Plum Heads were a rebellion that helped free Nisr from the rule of Empire of the Kolloh Twins, arranging and enabling its escape to the Material Plane.
The Plum Heads were so called because they used a special resin to coat the feathers of their heads, which rendered them immune to charm effects, which were often used by empire soldiers.
History
During the uprising, the Plum Heads sustained heavy casualties and lost most of their leadership. This made it hard for the remnants to take control of the city in the aftermath, and for the most part, communities managed themselves. This frustrated many Plum Heads, who felt that their losses and efforts entitled them to respect and even a following, which was not forthcoming. Most citizens were simply relieved to be free of a repressive regime and were reluctant to let anyone else take power from them.
The Plum Heads' attempts to gain power were further hampered in 247 ET, when soldiers came forward to dispute the popular heroic image of one of the rebellion's leaders (now deceased), Towoosh Ironbite, eventually proving that during the uprising, he had coldly ordered the destruction of a building where empire soldiers were holding civillians hostage, rather than letting them escape the city.
