Astero's Star (as-ter-oo)
Seated high above Capta, rests a 'star.' This 'star' pulses lightly giving off a pure white glow with pulses of yellow occasionally emanate from it. At the current age no one remembers why the humans built it or if it even needs anything to be sustained, they all will say the same: "This 'star' Astero's Star is the reason why Capta is still standing." Slowly pleading that this will never fade or go out they all keep about their lives, praying to Astero that they will never see the day it goes out. As the G.A. sends out search parties to find anything the humans may have left behind with their claim to this knowledge. As they have searched high and low they have found a door with in the castle of Capta that is connected to the central spire. Now, this door has an enchantment left upon it, which is though to be the humans protecting their deepest secrets, but alas they have neither prevailed against bypassing the enchantment or even coming close to break it. With the renewed vigor the G.A. ██████████. Continuing to farther look into this mystery has only seemed to make the 'star' mad as it has on occasion puled out red instead of yellow. This has only happened twice in the last 5 years but it still has been recorded, and has caused panic among Capta's citizens. With the realization that it will probably pulse red again the G.A. has been sending out the top party leader Crimson to reassure the people that they are protected and everything is going to be fine.
This has helped calm the masses a bit but as things have continued to spiral when the 'star' pulses now it seems to reveal Shiftlings that are living within Capta. This phenomenon has started to lead to an increase of public execution as they deem these a threat to Capta and as they do it hope it appeases this 'star' so it will keep the city from being destroyed. With so much unknown about Astero's Star the residents seem to be trying to make the best out of what they have. Thus within the Sanctuary of Astero they have pointed it towards the star in a hope to appease this god from destroying the last remanence of what the humans have build before they all vanished. But as with all thing human they have found this remanence of the human language Enotita Se Erinini inscribed across the stone above the door.
Purpose / Function
This is currently unknown to the residents of Capta, and much of the world's memory has been wiped after the humans vanished, making the races who live longer have a slight gap in their memory. So for now it just sits there as a massive night light to the city of Capta, as far as anyone is concerned.
Architecture
It sits atop a massive stone column, which almost seems to disappear the closer you get to the 'star.' This column has intricate carving on all sides and has the central point within the city. At the base you have the castle of Capta, which houses most of the governing roles. Around this you have District 1, or the top most district within Capta.
Tourism
Most people when they enter Capta they will see the star for the first time, as when you exit city limits the 'star' seems to just disappear. To mosts surprise they find the 'star' nestles within the Eqator Belt and the Marinathian, which are both bodies of stars in the night sky. This also allows Capta to be more active at night as this 'star' gives light to a majority of the city at night. Most of the people who come to see it are researchers who have been hired by the G.A. to uncover the mysteries of what this can do. Other than that you get people migrating to Capta from the famine that happen at the far reaches of the world making Astero's Star one of the most popular view point with in Navator.
This will be our final motion, one in which even the earth can't over come...together we will make a safe space for all races and tribes to gather under one symbol, The Star of Astero! -The designation speech, given by Padun (tha-dun)
