Capta (Ca-p-ta)
The Shining City, as it is called by many who have never lived within its walls. Well the idea of this may be pleasant the outcome is quite a different story. Sense its broken up into 5 districts it creates this class like divide between the different districts, causing a lot of strife within its walls. Ever sense the humans have gone extinct, Capta has become more of a mess. The building of the strong farmer district have rotted and fallen apart causing a majority of those who work there to be homeless. Well the rich have constant construction in the higher districts meaning they never have to face the mess of sleeping out in the elements. On top of all of that during the hurricane season the Potamo floods but the way the city was build is so it flood the farmland every year, leaving the other districts unscathed. Well the Guild and the Empirical Cabinet have the hold over the government, no one can decide who is a puppet of who.
We need help, but have lost the will to go on. We need the humans back, or a semblance of who they once were. If we can't find what we lost then I'm afraid we have already failed at trying to survive.
Demographics
The wealthy class holds the inner part of the city and as you go towards the side of the city the wealth of the people diminishes. As for races you can find most of the races here but the biggest number of them is Tiefling and Gnomes.
Government
It is run the Empirical cabinet, made up of 3 advisors and the Emperor. The taxes run on the backs of the merchants and farmers, where as adventures can get a break form the oppressive taxes. The laws are upheld by the massive presence of troops stationed throughout the city in plain sight for all to see, crime is then dealt with swiftly and gruesomely.
Defences
Each of the 5 districts are surrounded by a wall with gates on opposite sides of the city to enter. Each tower has a turret with a weapon of some kind armed on the top of it. They have an army of 50,000 troops stationed throughout the city.
Industry & Trade
They traded food though out the world by transit of rivers and carts. They also import materials to build and up keep the city as they striped the ground around them of trees. Among other things they tend to import the items needed to make potions and magic items for the adventurers. The are also the highest importers from the dwarven mines.
Infrastructure
After the fall of the humans the city is in a constant state of up keep as the construction teams are constantly keeping buildings from collapsing which could cause a massive deviation as the closer you get to the middle the house are starting to pack on top of each other. The farther out you go to the edges you will find dilapidated houses that just can't be up-kept with the constant work in the center.
Districts
There are 5 districts, District 1 the Farmers, this area has the smallest wall and has farms running the distance of about 50 acres of land for each farm. District 2 is where you get the apprentices and people who are slightly richer than the farmers live. District 3 Where the next two ranks of the guild live and this is where most of the merchants live. District 4 is where you have the 4th tear of the guild lives and then some richer merchants. District 5 is where the top adventuring group lives and the royals with a few underlings take residence.
Assets
The most productive farms, which they use to try and feed the world around them. After that they have the most luxury items such as clothes, furniture, shoes, spices, and accessories. When it comes to the magic side of thing they can grow a few of the herbs to make potions but don't have the ground availability due to food. They are also one of the soul produces of magic items for adventures and people to use.
Guilds and Factions
The last remaining faction in the area is the Guild of Adventures. They absorbed a few other guilds into the main body but they are lead by the Empirical Cabinet.
History
This was once the main city the humans build as the capital of their empire, but once they fell the remaining races took to trying to maintain the city as a way to inspire hope to the people around them. Regardless most of the history of Capta is lost to the age of humans.
Geography
The area around Capta is in a flood plains, making the ground fertile and causes a yearly flooding. The ground is mostly flat but there is a few elevation changes around the area.

Iron, bronze, fertile land, magical herbs, water, and building rocks.

The phrase that is carved into the stone of the gateways through out the city.
The last known battle cry of the humans before they disappeared.

The Last Remains
Once the human population started to decline Capta was one of the last remaining stronghold for the humans, but it eventually fell when the most frightening discovery happened. No one can seem to remember what happen or where the final books of the human were place but there is a sort of missing knowledge that is worth looking for.
