The Aisu-Baran kingdom is lead by their queen Asuna Baran. The queen is in service of the God Emperor and the kingdom has been a member of the Empire for the last thirty years.
Under the queen are nine great houses. Each of these houses is lead by a general. While they hold the title of general their function differs widely. Some are administrators first and warriors second.

History
The Aisu-Barans have been a minor power for the first 600 years. They became an important power when they conquered Aumia in 3580. Suddenly the Aisu-Barans had become one of the major players in the Old Kingdoms.
Despite being much smaller than The Empire, they put up a fight against them. Being one of their more dangerous opponents. But in 3647, then princess Asuna struck a deal with the Emperor and aided him in conquering their planets.
Ever since Asuna has been in charge of the Ipa star system.
