Syrendille

Syrendille is the eldest city of the Ranginian empire. Even though it isn't the biggest city, it is the perfect capital since it has at it's disposal a harbour, a airport and a perfect strategic placement.

Geography

Syrendille is located on three subsequent mesas, one on top of the other. This disposition worked perfectly as a division for the different districts of the city.

History

Syrendille was the place where the last battle of the Solvian Revolution took place. The prince's forces had cornered the previous emperor and aimed to strike, when the emperor announced he had his own daughter, Elaine, as a hostage against the prince.

The prince along with the top performers of the royal guard and her beloved betrothed at the time, marched into the castle. In there a battle against the emperor ensued and they managed to kill the emperor and thwart his plans in kahoots with the demon prince Graz'zt.

On his last breath, Graz'zt managed to get ahold of the princess and took her with him to the abyss. However, on a totally unexpected move, Karl Von Stein and Kaede Foxglove pursued the demon to his own plane and were never seen for the next 30 years.

After 30 years from the tragedy had passed, a portal from the Abyss opened and from it emerged Karl and Kaede, followed by Elaine as an attack against Syrendille began.
