Ceva'shen Submersible

A technological marvel of the Uraka'val, these submersibles are the horrors of naval combat. Able to travel and attack unseen, both naval and merchant sailors alike fear the tell-tale wake marking the path of a Ceva'shen Submersible.
Notably, the limited cargo and passenger space on a Ceva'shen marks their purpose clearly: destructive naval warfare. Each ship facing down a Ceva'shen can be assured that there will be no prisoners or cargo taken if the Uraka'val ship is victorious. (There are accounts of exceptions to this, but Uraka'val, knowing the psychological utility of certain doom, does little to correct this assumption.)

Power Generation

Mixture of charged arcane fluid reserves and manpower.

Propulsion

Magical; use of enlarging and reducing enchantments, fueled by a reserve of arcane charge, propels water through side channels on the submersible. A crew of "rowers" enables this process by circulating the charge-carrying fluid through the enchantments via manual pumps.

Weapons & Armament

Primary: battering elements on the front of the vessel that tear into opposing hulls.
Secondary: single-shot grappling lines; two on the bow, one on the stern, one port, and one starboard. The process of firing these both breaks the watertight seal around the weapon and re-forms a new seal behind it, preserving the propulsive mechanism. (These are generally applications of stored tension power from twisted rope or fiber coils, though the oldest models may have rudimentary ballistae instead.)

Armor and defense

Heavily armored, especially from above.

Sensors

Glass windows; often, mages aboard function as the eyes and ears of the vessel.
