Bethany Almis (a.k.a. The Rift Queen)
Bethany is not an entirely "true" Descendant. Originally created by the Rift itself, Beth was inserted into reality as the fourth and last of the Almis siblings to bring balance to her brothers who, at the time, were waging war on each other and the galaxy at large.
After the end of their crisis, Bethany returned to the Rift, taking up a leadership role and becoming the unchallenged queen of the realm until her mysterious death, at which point unbeknownst to the galaxy her son Aaron Almis inherited the throne.
