Gaia , the Celestial of Life
Gaia (d. 2567) was one of the Major Celestials, the mother of the universe and the Celestial of Life. With fellow Celestial, Nozdormu, she was the parent of Daniel Almis, Elijah Almis and Ven Almis.

Personal history
Once Nozdormu the Starforger had created the galaxy, Gaia began populating it with Life. First of all the mortals she made the Fey and the Elves, modelled exactly in her own image and given the highest honours of wielding magic and barely aging through time. As her creations continued they became more varied yet still capable of connecting to magic. Since creation she has surprisingly been the most elusive of the Celestials, not appearing nor interfering in any cosmics events until 2567.
In 2567, Gaia appeared during the battle against Zalgo on Nightblood. The Celestial of Life possessed Kittiana Youngblood at the climax of the battle and aided her in killing the Celestial of Insanity once and for all. This act however, resulted in Gaia’s death due to the amount of energy required to kill Zalgo. The result of both Celestial's death was not in vain however, as it sparked the creation of the Glow; the afterlife and realm of magic that would be discovered centuries later to save the universe from a magic-less existence.
