Temple of Uanes
The Nothkimbur giants were a deeply spiritual group and believed that closeness to the Earth (called Uanes in their language) was tantamount to spiritual awakening. They cut this temple deep into the Safflow Wall, excavating from the stone a cathedral that dwarfed even Helenaphe's greatest.
With the [Transformation of the Kimbur Giants], the site was soon abandoned. Over the years it was neglected, sometimes purposefully so by ardent purists wishing to stamp out the pagan monuments and temples. However the stone resisted damage and over centuries showed little signs of wear. Around 560, the people of Manatz began to use it as a site of worship to Helenaphe and other gods. In 564, it was formally recognized by the Holy Church of Helen as an official monument and renamed the Safflower Church.
