Loot Tables & Drop Rates

When an AI enemy is defeated, their body disappears after five minutes once there are no players within 10 meters. Any loot they are carrying at the time of despawn is immediately dropped and remains on the battlefield to be picked up.   AI enemies generally will carry between 0-2 pieces of loot, and more rare or [powerful opponents can drop even more. The Loot Table is a predefined list of odds and possible items that a given enemy can drop. The determination of whether an AI enemy will carry loot at all as well as its type and quality is governed by a combination of factors.

Drop Rate Probability

Each enemy type and rank has an associated drop rate chance which indicates the likelihood of carrying loot. This equation is based on the enemy class, individual types, Hazard level, Item Type & Rarity, Item Category, and finally individual items themselves.
