Menus
NEXUS is designed to have a free floating virtual cursor to navigate menus via controller or mouse. This allows for a variety of menu layouts while retaining a unified navigation structure across console and PC players. Additionally, there are inputs that allow for quick snapping to different screens and options, giving players the freedom to engage with menus in a way that suits them best.
There are various menus in NEXUS that help players navigate the game’s numerous systems. Each serves a different purpose and is laid out in a way that will allow players to access the exact mechanics they need, in or out of battle.
Due to the complexity of NEXUS, each main menu option has several sub-menus that can be navigated to independently. These sub-menus are grouped together as they are important to access during a mission or in combat, such as making adjustments to the player's character and gear. Other main menus include sets of sub-menus for navigating the wider universe, such as the game’s encyclopedia, store, and settings.
There are two sets of main menus players can access at any time:
Lightkeeperand
Codex . Lightkeeper menus focus on pertinent information while on missions or in combat while Codex menus focus on preparations, planning, and research.
