Voice Chat

Voice Chat (also known as VOIP) is a feature that is enabled by default, however it can easily be toggled on or off at any given time. Voice Chat is proximity based, reaching up to a maximum of 20 meters. It is a push-to-talk system that can be activated while on Missions and specific areas within Safe Zones called Rest Stops.
Voice Chat is a highly engaging tool that players can use to communicate with each other to strategize with their team, socialize, and interact with their opponents. When activated, players can speak to others nearby, fostering more immersive and organic interactions within the community. The closer players are to each other, the louder their voices become (up to a set limit).

Reporting

The Voice Chat system is intended for coordination and the ability to negotiate. Using it inappropriately can ruin the experience for other players. Player’s can easily report inappropriate Voice Chat usage by activating their AI and selecting the Report action while another player is talking or was talking 10 seconds prior. Doing so submits an audio log for review to determine if the chat is against the game’s terms.
Obscene insults, playing music, purposefully causing irritation, and other improper behavior can lead to Voice Chat being disabled for players or potentially an account ban. Voice Chat activation is enabled for a maximum of 15 seconds consecutively every 20 seconds to prohibit players from spamming it.
