Vypra
Vypra was a pureblooded lamia, part of the original snake-like race before Graz'zt's influence made most of her people more lion-like. She often used her enchantment and illusion magic for spying, blackmail, and extortion on behalf of Captain Elgar. Unfortunately (for her), these skills did not assist her in the Ashes Archipelago. With her natural acid immunity, she and a group of modified acid-proof Gunkers were sent to harvest magic crystals from inside a beached kraken corpse to help with the Jeweled Eyes' repairs. She was interrupted by the Venture Boys, who she decided to kill rather than split the crystals with them even before discovering they were the ones who had caused the Jeweled Eyes' damage.
Quickly realizing she'd need help to win, Vypra tried to flee with only a single magic crystal after blasting another to trigger a detonation. She was stopped by Guu the Slime who had transformed into a giant toad & used his tongue to restrain her. Unable to free herself, Vypra used a scroll of sending to give the rest of the Argus Pirates descriptions of the Venture Boys and told them to avenge her. Shortly thereafter, Fast Jimmy put a bullet in her head.
