The Bureau of Paranormal Investigations and Anomalies, or just The Bureau is a secret organization founded by the U.S government before the Nexus occurred. The Bureau exists to inspect items that would become the catalyst for the gods in the Nexus known as Objects of Power. Despite it currently being a Lovecraftian nightmare that could warp the mind, the Bureau follows the precise and orderly law of a man known simply as The Director.
