The Pillow

In the Nexian Wilds outside of town, there's a massive mountain with two peaks. Locals call it the pillow because of its shape.

Geography

A two-peaked mountain, shaped like a pillow with an indent for a head. Locals believe that the god TamTim once used it as such, but there's no evidence of this claim to be found. Given that TamTim is often noted to be rather small for a deity, nowhere near giant-sized, this is likely an unfounded myth.

Natural Resources

Stone and some minerals, but nothing too precious. The mountain was once a logging area, but that forest has since been reclassified as a protected site. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop many hunters.

Tourism

A protected forest sits atop the second peak of the mountain and is a common spot for fruit picking and bird watching. Tourism is a big revenue stream in Nexus, so the orchard prices can get a little steep, but the kindly halfling man who runs the ticketbooth is always happy to bargain.
The entire mountain is home to lots of exotic fauna, making it a target for hunters. While they don't technically have to pay to hunt, most get their weapons from the nearby armory and sell anything profitable at Heavenly Hams, stimulating the economy despite the ecological damage. The clumsiest hunters pay the most expensive price for that damage: a hefty fine for illegal destruction of Nexian nature. Of course, few people incur this penalty. Not many within the Bureau want to punish those who buy and sell good inventory, even if they do so illegally.
