Blastkeg

Named after Vonrig Blastkeg, one of the Founders of the Federated Union of Eastern Kalin, Blastkeg is an extremely localized holiday, being celebrated chiefly in Virnos in mid-autumn. 
Blastkeg is officially recognized by the Union, but it is not widely celebrated. Instead, young Technomancers attending the Virnos University of Technomancy celebrate the holiday by blowing up kegs of ale and beer with their newest (and often unstable) technomantic creations. It is quite the thorn in the University Administration's side, but they have given up trying to crack down on the holiday, instead seeking the contain it as best as possible.
