Hell's Gate Mining Disaster

A mine in Hells Gate that specialized in mining obsidian suddenly collapsed and then exploded in 1008 3A.    The cause is still unknown, as the size of the explosion was not proportionate to the amount of explosives stored on site for mining efforts. Nor is obsidian a volatile material.    A contingent of Dark Guard that happened to be in the city jumped into the rescue efforts, and managed to rescue over fifty miners from the wreckage; earning praise from both Xune and Ranva Zincshard.
