During the summer of 754 the west coast of Kalin was subject to surprisingly rough storms, and as a result quite a few of the lower lying cities and towns on the coast all the way from Gir'An to the North to the small ports on the Strakan coastline in the South faced flooding and in some cases, widespread destruction.
