The Second Virnosian War

"I'm going to march the army all the way to the Grand Magus' palace and impregnate his ass with my fucking boot. Fuck Virnos." - Alsen Lastimora's now infamous speech to the Prime Lords of Atresa at the beginning of the Second War.

Several decades after their first attempt Virnos once again tried to conquer their neighbor of Atresa.   This time Virnos was aided by a new weapon, the fearsome Knights of Virnos. Huge constructs several dozen feet tall and wielding magically forged weapons, the Knights of Virnos were fearsome weapons of war. For a long while it was unknown how these weapons were even created, though the later truth that it involved blood rituals and demons was a massive scandal.   Despite their advanced technology the Atresan numbers and ability to call on the Guilds for aid still held the Virnosians at bay. Though this time the stalemate was a much harder win, and left Atresa nervous what would happen at the next war with their rivals.
