"Upon this spot I hereby declare a new beginning for all races in this land. The Torva shall guide the younger races in the building of a kingdom that stretches from sea to sea, and we shall work towards the betterment of all under its domain." -Sullia
Following her quick and efficient conquest of Kalin from coast to coast, Sullia went about bringing her dream of a continent-wide Torvish Empire to fruition. Upon the Torva'Bin (Or "Elven Rest") she founded her new capital of Caledbar (or "Golden Heart"). This capital would be near the center of Kalin and thus the Empire, and act as the "heart" of the Empire, with roads and bridges stretching out from it and reaching to all places in the continent. This empire would officially become known as The Torva'Ir, and for several hundred years Sullia would go about forming its governing body and bureaucratic apparatuses. While she was doing that many notable Elven Princes and Princesses would start building their own magnificent cities as an homage to Sullia and Caledbar. While Caledbar was by far the grandest and largest city of the Elves, the Immortal Cities would be remarkable in their own right. One notable difference between Caledbar and the other Immortal Cities is that while Caledbar was inhabited primarily by Elves (with the "younger races" mostly visiting the city for trade and commerce) the Immortal Cities would be made up of mostly younger races with an Elven aristocracy ruling over them. The process of building these cities and forming the Torva'Ir didn't take overly long by Elven standards (about 800 years) but generations of Humans and Olark were born, grew old, and died during this time period. Many wouldn't see the Empire they were working their whole lives to build, with the exception of most Elves of course. By the time this "building" period was done dozens of Immortal Cities dotted Kalin and their grandeur was as profound as it was unique to each Prince or Princess building it. Over time these cities would become de-facto capitals of their regions, a purpose that pleased Sullia just fine as it allowed her to better delegate her ruling to those more local to the people they were ruling over. This period of building would lead seamlessly into the Golden Age of the Torva'Ir and Sullia.
