Leikeia

Leikeia is a town in the east of the Andranes Republic, built around the Daskalos Likeyos for Arts, a very large art academy.

Demographics

Most of the inhabitants of Leikeia are high elves and eladrins, altough members of other species come here to study in the academy.

Government

The rector of the academy serves as the local ruler for Leikeia.

Industry & Trade

Many students of the academy have side jobs they use to pay the school fees and everything that their parents can't provide for.
All throughout the town you can find artists and traders that sell art pieces made by students of the Likeyos.

Assets

The town is home to many stores that sell anything that artists, scholars and teachers may need, as well as multiple taverns for visiting relatives and partying students.

History

The town was built after the Likeyos became famous and needed external activities to keep being functional and to accomodate the larger number of students, teachers and visitors.
The name of the town comes from the proximity to the academy.

Architecture

The Likeyos is at the center of the town, altough some extra classrooms and laboratories that were added later, and are scattered around town.
Around the academy there are small stores and taverns which were built early on, when the town still did not officially exist.
The most recent buildings are in the outer part of town, and include the docks for Flying Ships.
Various kinds of sculptures and paintings adorn the whole town.
