Sazaron

Sazarons are a highly intellectual species on Arkanen, known for their large size and thick skin that provides them with electrical resistance. They have a unique body structure that combines the features of a dinosaur with those of a humanoid. Sazarons are very scholarly and prefer to avoid conflict in order to focus on their studies. They also possess a magical ability to compel others to speak the truth.   Their capital, Telataranas, is a hub of magical education, with numerous universities and academies. They are particularly interested in the atmospheric submergence of Arkanen, studying its effects on the ecosystem and energy reserves. Many sazarons work as electricians to maintain the gigantic pylons that collect electricity from Liavara's atmosphere.   Another area of study for sazarons is the mysterious and dangerous hallajins on the nearby moon of Hallas. They work to contain the psychic energy of these creatures and prohibit attempts to sneak onto the moon. However, they are happy to analyze any artifacts or data obtained by lawbreakers.   Overall, sazarons are a peaceful and intellectual species focused on furthering their knowledge and maintaining the balance of their home world.

When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Zone of Truth spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.   Insulated Skin Sazaron have resistance to lightning damage   Natural Weapons Your hooves are natural melee weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes.
