Anessen Staladin

Anessen Staladin was the Emperor of Lenisily from 1685-1989. He was a very oppressive controlling leader who elevated the status of his military above anything else. His thiramin and wife, Nadya Medveden died in 1688 in childbirth with his only true son. It was around this time that Mephistopheles came to him and persuaded him to sign a contract, giving him magical abilities but condemning his soul to serve Mephistopheles. He descended quickly into an angry cold elf and became a hoarder of wealth so great that he was compared or rumored to be a dragon. He was only able to birth one other son with a concubine but the child was born a half-elf. Anessen convinced Mephistopheles to turn the child into an elf but he kept his uglier non-elven features. Anessen named him Ivan Pufuktin and sent him away to be raised as a soldier. Anessen met his demise in 1989 when he decided to use his son's prized lieutenants for an evening to establish dominance over his son but she deceived and tricked him by tying him up and killing him.
