Battle of the Dorgar Crossing

Military: Battle

1132
4/6

A victory of the Hajak barbarians over the Kolmarkees. Torund Harr, second baron of Kolmark, died there.

The Battle of the Dorgar Crossing occurred on the 4th of Iromond, year 1132. It was a fierce battle fought between the Kolmarkee forces, led by Baron Torund Harr, and the Hajak tribes from the Norkvest Tundra. The battle took place on the banks of the Dorgar River, near a Kolmarkee camp where later on was built the Orran's Outpost.
The Hajaks had long been a thorn in the side of the Kolmarkees. They regularly raided Kolmarkee villages and farms, stealing livestock and taking prisoners. The Kolmarkees had tolerated these raids for many years under the rule of Halund Harr, but his son Torund was determined to stop the threat. The baron assembled a large army and set out to meet the Hajaks in battle.
The Kolmarkees fought bravely, but they were outnumbered and outmatched by the Hajaks. Despite their bravery, they were no match for the ferocious Hajak warriors. Baron Torund Harr was killed in the battle, along with many of his soldiers. The Kolmarkees were forced to retreat, and the Hajaks emerged victorious.
