Dragons

DOVÂ

In the world of Nixxia, the dragons – now extinct – were not merely creatures of fire and scales but remnants of a once-great race, the Ruuth'Sunvaar. These dragons bore the weight of ancient history upon their backs, embodying the echoes of a civilization lost to time. Their forms, once fluid and adaptable, were bound into the rigid structures of draconic existence. Yet, within those towering bodies, the essence of the Ruuth'Sunvaar persisted, like dormant embers awaiting the spark of memory. Each dragon bore the marks of its enigmatic heritage, their scales shimmering with echoes of their former malleability, hinting at the shapes they once could assume at will.   Despite their transformation, the dragons of Nixxia retained fragments of their former intelligence and resourcefulness. Though their memories were fractured and their powers diminished, they endured as shadows of their former selves, eternally bound to the land they once roamed as sovereigns.   As time passed, the dragons of Nixxia faced the challenges of their new existence. They adapted to their draconic forms, mastering the skies and the earth with equal prowess. Though they no longer held dominion over the realms of magic as they once did, their innate connection to the arcane remained, a subtle reminder of their ancient legacy.   Yet, even as the dragons of Nixxia flourished in their own way, their fate was inexorably tied to the passage of time. At the end of the Second Age, a magical cataclysm swept across the land, engulfing the world in chaos and upheaval. In its wake, the dragons vanished, leaving behind only whispers of their existence.   In their absence, the legacy of the Ruuth'Sunvaar endured through the emergence of the Dovahgoraan, the dragonborn. Born from the remnants of the ancient dragons, the Dovahgoraan carried within them the echoes of their ancestors' greatness. Among them, the Sahrotsos, Zegtuzsos, Lingrahsos, and the exceedingly rare Lokraasos bore testament to the diverse lineage of the dragons of Nixxia.   Though the dragons themselves had vanished from the world, their presence lived on through the blood of their descendants. The tale of the Ruuth'Sunvaar remained etched into the annals of history, a reminder of a time when they soared among the stars as gods among mortals.
