Ashwinders

Anatomy
The Ashwinder is a thin pale-grey snake with glowing red eyes. They rise from the dying embers of fire or from their eggs.
Ashwinder eggs are red and give off an intense heat. The heat was capable of igniting a dwelling within minutes of their birth.
Genetics and Reproduction
Ashwinders breed generally yield females that are larger than males. The eggs of the Ashwinders are vivid crimson speckled with gold, and the shells give off a great heat.
Ecology and Habitats
Since Ashwinders are created by fires. However, if they manage to roam free and lay their eggs, the eggs will ignite and may burn the building down within minutes.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Its diet is carnivorous, consisting of mainly mammals.

Ashwinder eggs are very valuable; they can be used in a love potions, eaten whole as a cure for ague.
