Orcs
Basic Information
Anatomy
Orcs are bipedal species that have four limbs, two legs and two arms, five digits on each hand and feet and have hairless bodies. They have hair on their heads and males are able to grow facial hair. Orcs also have short, pointed ears.
Biological Traits
Male Orcs are generally larger than females and are able to grow facial hair. female Orcs are able to produce milk from their breasts and are the ones that give birth. All Orcs have short, pointed ears.
Genetics and Reproduction
Orcs reproduce sexually and are viviparous, they typically have a gestation period of 9 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Orcs from infancy take 4 years to reach childhood and from there it takes 14 years to reach adulthood, at the age of 18 an Orc is considered a young adult. An Orc who reaches the age of 30 is considered an adult and at the age of 60 they are considered to be elderly.
Ecology and Habitats
Orcs live in dersterly, semi-arid, mountainous and tropical savanna climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Orcs are omnivores they procure their food by hunting and gathering or by raiding settlements, those that live with other races in settlements, such as Humans, will obtain their food the same way as the other race does.
Biological Cycle
As time progresses Orcs age and grow until eventually their body reaches a point that they can no longer sustain themselves and die.
Behaviour
Orcs have a bad temper and give in to anger more easily than some races. Orcs believe that strength does what is right. Orcs typically do not cooperate with other races, instead urging weaker races to follow them.
However, due to the stupidity of the orcs, they were tricked into servitude on several occasions. Orcs will always use violence to resolve disputes.
However, there are also some Orcs who are quite calm and collected and also much more intelligent then other members of their race.

Social Structure
Orcs live in a confederation of tribes, loosely held together by a despotic chieftain. Orcs don't build cities of their own, instead relying on those left behind by others and improving their fortifications or operating out of small camps and dens, often in natural caves.
Orcs valued strength above all else, those that are strong rule and those that are considered weak were used as slaves.
Facial characteristics
Orcs have a pair of eyes, that are green, yellow or red, and ears, that are short and pointed, with one nose and mouth, that have their lower canines jutting out of their mouths called tusks. Males are able to grow facial hair.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Orcs can be found across the world of Nomadia but are the most commonly found in the Dragon Desert, the Heat Desert, the Mountains of the Iron Wrath and the and Island of Gambit, the king of the righteous thieves.
Average Intelligence
Orcs are known to be one of the least intelligent races found on Nomardia. Orcs are considered creatures of action, not thought, they are focused on fighting and war.
But they are, even when rarely, some Orcs who show a greater level of intelligence that even rivials those of Nomardias most intelligent races.

Orcs predominantly use sight to observe the world around them but can use other senses such as hearing to do so as well.

Naming Traditions
Orc names are more often than not very guttural sounding, oftentimes short, and can also reflect their more brutish nature.
Beauty Ideals
Orc beauty ideals are based on their physical appearance, particularly musculature, and an individual's physical strength.
Gender Ideals
Orcs don't treat sexes differently from each other, instead the strength of the individual dictates how they are treated.
Courtship Ideals
Orcs court those they are attracted to by fighting them and if they win, they can then mate with the loser.
Relationship Ideals
Orcs are polygamous and form harems with a strong individual at the centre that is surrounded by mates, Orcs are also known to take slaves as members of their harem.
Most Orcs do not care about romance and are more focussed on pleasure and producing strong offspring.
Average Technological Level
Due to the low level of intelligence that most Orcs have they only use primitive technology and are unable to create more advanced or complex technologies. Orcs have access to stone tools, basic metals and wooden tools.
But the some Orcs with a higher intellengence are able to create more advanced or complex technologies.

Common Etiquette Rules
Orcs are vulgar and violent and treat others poorly and without respect. Only the strong are treated with respect and this only because the weaker Orcs fear if they don't, they would be killed by the stronger Orcs which is true.
The rare but more intellengent Orcs are much more calmer and collected and always try to be respectful and polite even if sometimes their short temper comes in their way.
Common Dress Code
Orcs wear very basic clothes, that come in basic colours, with much of their skin exposed, they will also adorn themselves with bone jewellery and metal plates, though never full suits of armour.
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Orc culture is based on fighting, strength and warfare, Orcs enjoy fighting and will fight anything or anyone who they deem to be strong and will bully those they deem to be weak.
Most Orcs approached life with the belief that to survive, one had to subjugate potential enemies and control as many resources as possible, this led to disputes not only with other Orcs but also other races. Most Orcs will always follow those they deem strong as the believe the strong are always right and the weak are always wrong.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
A common tradition in Orc culture is to hold raiding parties when food stores are low, during this time young Orcs take part in order to prove themselves to their tribe that they are strong and not weak.
Common Taboos
It is forbidden to run away or act cowardly in Orc society and in doing so the individual would be branded a coward and exiled from the tribe.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Orcs generally see other races as targets for raids or as weak and cowardly. Most Orcs only will cooperate with certain races, but only after bullying them into submission or only if they can be persuaded with food, slaves or other valuable materials.
